Melodie Davis’ books and other publications:

Melodie Davis books and other publications – New book added August 2022!

People often ask how many books I’ve written. I always say it depends on how you count them (including those I compiled), small booklets, and a daily calendar. Here is a pretty complete list; those with ** and underlined are still available online from used booksellers, the publisher, or Amazon. Some I have available free or for sale from my home plus $3 shipping. Those which I still have copies of and would love to send you have prices marked.

Newest book:

* Memoir of an Unimagined Career: 43 Years Inside Mennonite Media, (212 pages with photos, published by Masthof Publishers masthof.com) $14 (price from author) + 3 shipping. PM me if you want to pick it up in Harrisonburg, Va. Also available on Amazon.

Endorsement from Richard A. Kauffman, formerly editor at Christianity Today, The Christian Century, and Mennonite Publishing House:  “Some stories deserve to be told. Others are better taken to the grave. Thankfully, Melodie Miller Davis knows the difference. What an amazing story she tells of working for the same Mennonite media organization from her college graduation until retirement, 43 years later. She grew into the job, which continued to challenge her as new ventures came her way and technology was revolutionized. Vocation well-lived. Story well told!”

*Whatever Happened to Dinner: Recipes and Reflections for Family Mealtime, (Herald Press, 2010) $5 + $3 shipping.

*366 Ways to Peace, a perpetual daily calendar (Herald Press, 1999) $5 + $3 shipping.

**Departure (Herald Press, 1991) $2 + $3 shipping.
